While much of Life Together Alliance's ongoing work is rooted in Kenya, our commitment to helping people live with greater dignity extends around the world. Sometimes that means building long-term programs. Other times it means meeting a very immediate need with something simple that can make a meaningful difference.
For many families in Cuba, even basic over-the-counter medicines can be difficult to access. Something as ordinary as a Tylenol for a migraine, fever, or everyday pain may simply not be available when it is needed. Life Together Alliance has helped supply essential over-the-counter medicines directly to people and families in Cuba, providing practical relief through items many of us rarely have to think twice about having in our medicine cabinets.
In Türkiye, our efforts have focused on meeting basic needs while also bringing a little comfort and joy.
We have supplied and helped distribute clothing and food to families in need, along with stuffed animals for children. Because caring for people is about more than meeting physical needs, sometimes a small source of comfort can matter too.
